Wheelchair Securement services are traditionally offered onsite at ADA Certification Assessment Centers. MMP has developed a very successful approach, bringing wheelchair securement services to the public at public outreach events, at agencies with a high volume of wheelchair users, at schools, rehabilitation centers and many other locations.
Our program also offers in-home securement services designed to reach a larger audience of wheelchair users. Along with the in-home services, MMP offers a “Trip of the day” on transit that can be completed on the same day as the appointment for the securement services. The trip on transit provides an opportunity for the individual to learn how to self-advocate with bus drivers, when they are requesting that their wheelchairs be secured while on transit.
